🐾 Helping Animals Live On: Meet the Dogs Behind the Mission

This fall, No More Last Days is proud to partner with HALO Animal Rescue — a Phoenix-based nonprofit that’s rewriting the future for homeless pets. From now through the end of the year, 100% of proceeds from our campaign will go directly to HALO, supporting their lifesaving work and helping animals live on.

Why HALO Matters

HALO stands for Helping Animals Live On — and that’s not just a name, it’s a promise. Every day, the team at HALO works to increase adoption, promote sterilization, and educate the community about responsible pet care. They never euthanize animals to make room for others, and every dog or cat receives the same love and veterinary care we’d give our own pets.

HALO is a safety net for thousands of animals each year. Their mission goes beyond just loving dogs and cats — it’s about creating a safer, more compassionate world for them. That’s why we’ve chosen HALO as the beneficiary of our 4Q campaign: because every animal deserves a last day filled with love, not loneliness.

Meet Willow & Scout — The Bonded Sisters

Willow and Scout are nearly two-year-old Doberman mixes with big hearts and even bigger personalities. These sisters are a bonded pair — inseparable in both spirit and stride.
  • Willow is spirited and affectionate, always ready to play and be part of the action. Her black-and-rust coat shines in the sun, and her joyful energy is contagious.
  • Scout is lively and fun-loving, with a boisterous charm and a sleek black-and-brown coat. She’s alert, expressive, and happiest when she’s side by side with Willow.
They’re not a fit for homes with cats or small dogs, but for the right adopter, they’ll bring double the joy, double the loyalty, and double the love. HALO is committed to keeping them together — because some bonds are too deep to break.
Meet Hudson — The Spirited Solo Star
Hudson is a nearly six-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a red-and-white coat and piercing blue eyes. He’s playful, social, and thrives in the company of other dogs. His high-energy style makes him a great fit for an active household with a yard to roam.
Currently in foster care, Hudson is still available for adoption — and ready to meet the family that matches his adventurous spirit. If you’re interested, HALO’s foster team is just an email away at foster@halorescue.org.
